Limiting Assignment Access/Visibility (Teachers)

The steps below describe how to limit an assignment to you and your students only.

  1. Select Assignments at the top of any myON page.

  2. To find the assignment, select Active or Drafts under My Assignments on the left side of the page.

  3. For active assignments, select the pencil (edit) icon.

    For drafts, select Edit Draft.

  4. The assignment will open. In the Instructions, the Share with other educators box is for those who want to make their assignment available for other teachers. Do not tick the box if you want to restrict access to just you and your students. By default, only you and your students will have access to the assignment unless you share the assignment here.

    The Group Administrator determines whether shared assignments are seen by educators on your site only or by your educators and myON users on other sites. See Account Options under Group Administrator Control.
